There are many different types of fencing options available for rural properties. One of the most popular choice is the Homestead style post and rail rural fencing. It’s strong, long-lasting and looks great.

Our Homestead fencing is compatible with other fencing materials like chain mesh, wire mesh, ring lock, barbed wire or slight wire. Plus, we make customised gates to suit your property, requirements, style and budget.

All our Homestead post and rail fencing is made from CCA treated pine logs and there are a few ways Homestead fencing can be installed.

• Pre-drilled posts – Posts are predrilled with a hole so the fence rails fit together without screws or wire. There are no sharp edges and safe for children, horses or other animals.
• Stay Pinned – Galvanised steel pins join rails to the posts. There are no sharp edges and safe for children, horses or other animals.

Single or top rail Homestead fencing uses one rail across the top of the fence.

Double rail Homestead fencing has two rails. One at the top and the other in the middle of the fence.

Triple rail Homestead fencing uses three rails. One at the top, and the others by preference.

Adding wire mesh or chain link wire is a common addition to Homestead fencing.

This example uses star pickets and a combination of square wire mesh and barbed wire.

Post and rail fencing is ideal for creating a round training area for horses.

Wire fencing is simple & economical. Flags are ideal for areas to get the attention of passer-by’s.
